im in a pickle to which car to buy next soonish!!!

I duno why but i fancy a JCW cooper. Yes its a girls car lol but they drive so nice.

I also got in mind a type r ep3, s2000, or a corsa vxr arctic.

anyone got reviews on the cars above.

I got around 10k to play with.

Funny enuf I've just moved on to a ep3 mate I know I'm gna hear u miss boost blah blah but I'm made up with it handles awesome out the box and can pull nicely in 6th and there's so many parts out there for them here's what I got 54 plate with 50k on the clock for a bargain

eric vxrs are slow lol me mates just bought an arctic one, an my gt is quicker than it now....

ull only regret it when the gt has gone. thats what you told me when i was going too move on lol

Tbh no mate really enjoying a fresh project to work on and a car that I'm not sinking loads into every month just to keep it on the road mate yeah it aint got boost and isn't as quick but at somepoint I wanted and change and tbh I'm happy I did it now and made more than I expected breaking it tbh.

S2000 is awesome i love mine!!!!!! so nice to drive, reliable, not quick though!! need to sort out a charger of some sort ;)

Iv got an ep3 iv had since December and it's a really good car for what I want. As people have said it handles very well out the box, the brakes are also very good. It's not a FAST car but it's perfectly able,if you like blating round country lanes etc the ep3 is very good, I haven't modded it yet but I an looking to so a few subtle bits and pieces, 240bhp is quite easy to obtain out of them. My GT is defiantly faster in straight line. But tbh I find the civic a little more fun. Out of the list I'd probs go s2k tbh only because they seem like great cars!

have been thinking bout this lately too i just want a car that i can hop into everyday and not spend all my money on and dodging speedbumps etc if i get rid of mt glanza would be thinking either an ep3 civic or a dc5 would be the next step up

Yeah Popsy i love the DC5, was between one of them and an S2000, but then ^^^ popped up for sale so i was sold on that one.

Would love a DC5 though!

thinking of changing my 04 ep2 for an 06 ep3 premier next year,so id pick the ep3,would be a little easier to live with than an s2k imo.

The JCW mini isnt that fast to be honest the girlfriends mate had one hence she sold it and bought a Ford Focus RS Cosworth the Honda wouldnt be the most powerful car either but they handle superbly

I recently came back from a DC2 type R, obviously they are a lot more of a raw car. Not that fast but definately enough for an everyday car. I just got bored of the speed tho needed a starlet again :) also the running costs of insurance, tax, petrol compared arent worth it in my eyes. i did love that car tho and if the newer type R's are anything like them you wont be disapointed.

You could get a supercharged one for 10k ;)

agree with knightsy there. the ep3 is worse on petrol than my GT. and when you add on the higher insurance and tax it puts me right off. plus they look horrid.
