Alright Folks,

Hope all are well. I got a front mount intercooler, what silicone and aluminium pipes do you need to fit it?

Also what AN fittings do you need to fit rocker cover to fit a catch can?

Cheers

What kinda core did you get buddy ? I bought core then gathered the pipes up later, my core is J-Performance, the turbo side pipework is by HDI and cold side I put together myself with random pipes from Jay and another fella :)
Catch can fitting don't need AN fittings unless your going bling bling or "race spec lol" rocker cover.
I've took pictures of my pipework but phone is being a penis so will try loading them up later

there ya go, starting from the top picture at the intake, ignore the electric tape, it's there strictly for show purpose only ;)

that should give you an idea bud, the above 2 pics are with the tf035 kit etc on, intake side is the same and the HDI hot pipe fits perfectly when i cut it :)

Hi Skinny,

I got a front mount intercooler on eBay for 40 brick....all the pipe kits seem expensive...the external diameter 45 mm 1.75" outlets.

Hey Ronz,

You can fit a catch can without AN fittings, pretty much just a bit of garden hose would nearly do it lol.

Usually best to buy a full set of pipes rather than piece the lot together randomly. Patchwork FMIC's give hassle and rarely sit 100% how you want them.

yes best buy a specific pipe kit if you can Ronz, i had wild bother with my intake side leaking and over boosting to fuel cut, issue is cheap thin pipes being ovaled by the jubilee clips, ended up putting new joiners in 2mm smaller than the pipes then found the dump valve Gambler pipe was poo pooed
what's the dimensions of the core ? Mines 30x8x4 inch lol

you get the td04 on then skiny?

Rondon - buy a kit or get something custom made - patchwork = lotta work

Yeah mate, for all of about 30 mins then I realized the decat was miles out for the system flip sake

Buying individual bends and joiners gets expensive but sometimes its the only way. I think the most cost effective way is to buy a CT9 kit then modify it to your needs as an when. T bolt clamps work well but some of the cheaper ones fall apart when the salt gets in even though they are all stainless steel. I have had good results with Mikalor T bolt clamps. Make extra sure the ally pipe has plenty of clearance and doesn't rub on anything hard. Its like cheese when it touches the engine/gearbox or chassis.
