Nah. Like I said in that thread, I've only started to properly lift weights since January. So not been at it anywhere near long enough to even contemplate it!! Maybe in another 5 years lol.

Best to start naturally, everyones body is different and reacts differently to training, progressing to roids should be your last option

I lift weights but not to be a bodybuilder or anything, just want to feel and look in form, I am content to be ready for this summer if it arrives, again lol

I don`t see the point in people chasing a football about?

yup everyones different no doubt lads :)

if you look at sports in even a small way you find your different personality traits and what they general steer you towards. whether its a team game football rugby hockey(dominant extrovert personality's) or sport like tennis skiiing badminton (introvert personality's highly competitive people)

obviously to make up the numbers your going to have the mass number of undecided males at puberty that simply do whatever that get praised for doing whether its goalkeeper or right back left back.

we all do enjoy different things for different reasons.

i for one would rather sleep than ever be found in a gym but im not lazy.

id only train if there was a goal,

for a)my life, b)work and c)sporting interests gaining weight or muscle would a)probably annoy my gf b)waste of time given my job c)muscle bound/any excess weight would make me worse at football id maybe even get dropped if i couldnt keep up.

but each to their own. :)

Exactly, theres no point in saying "i dont see the point in that crap" as i can think of a million things a think are pointless that people do and vise versus. We are going to like our own things.

I go to the gym on average 4 times a week, I like the way i look, it gives me better self esteem, and the girls love it :p hehe

Nah but on a serious note, i enjoy watching the progression, Gives better fitness as i also do cardio and generally feel more awake and more life in you. So there is quite a bit of point really. Never really been a great fan of sports(playing consistently). However i do enjoy playing various sports, i used to alot more in my teens.
