GT's new look

Just thought I would throw up a picture or two to show the new look for my GT. The wheels were in desperate need of a refurb so I thought I'd go for something different to the white they originally were. The new colour is a nice fluorescent orange colour. I also sprayed the GT badge to match. Won't be to some peoples taste but I personally love them. The pictures don't really show them well but you get the idea.

Also when I first got the car the paintwork although in good condition was a wee bit lifeless so I have spent a bit of time bringing it back to the way it should be. I think it came up very well and I was very happy with the results.

I'm going to try and get a wee theme going with a bit of orange but won't go overboard. Keeping an eye out now for some kind if kit. I'm pretty set with gt4 brakes on it at the minute lol but a nice idea.

Oh don't worry I was expecting those comments about doing it to the trd wheels but the way I see it is that it's only paint and can always be put back to an original colour in the future.

I had the opportunity to try something different so took a chance as they were in terrible condition and it was a friend that did them more as a favour so had nothing to lose

that's no bother chris, I'll leave it to you to let me know when suits you to get it finished off.

lol no need to apologise about it, I can take criticism. I didn't for a second think that everyone would like it but I knew I would so went ahead with it, just wanted something that would stand out a bit more and a black GT with white wheels just doesn't lol

tho beefy wanted dif an he certainly got it pic's don't do the colour justice it's a class orange, personally if i owned them they'd hav stayed white but it's his car an his taste so fair play for tryin somethin dif

I got fluorescent Orange wheels like it......but only for track tbh so stands out abit so you can find yourself in pics easier

haha your not the only one to think that. The orange looks poor in those pics and looks much better in the flesh but I can understand people not liking the bright colour.

Haha yea that is very true lol at the minute I really am loving the look, if i wake up some day soon and think I've made a big mistake then Im sure they wouldn't be long in getting sprayed back to white. Don't see that day coming soon tho as they put a little smile on my face everytime I look at them lol

On a side note, this is the first i have looked at the pics on the computer as i uploaded them to here from my iphone. The pics uploaded there look nothing like the actual colour of the wheels. (they look almost pink there lol)

I'll get some better pics sorted with a decent camera to show them a bit better.
