So basically I need a new car after owning my loyal glanza for 4 years but now it's a bit of a shed and on it's last legs these days, would upping it to 0.8psi with everything else standard blow my old faithful friend up?
where the actuator bracket joins the turbo housing (left).. there 2 bolts.. i put one washer for each bolt between bracket and turbo housing.. all this does is it puts more pressure on the actuator spring therefore keeping the wastegate closed for longer (more boost)...
dont really know the size mate.. start small and go for a spin and check the boost an just add more washers if needs be.. ill put up a picture if you like but will take a few mins??
red arrow in picture points to where the washers are placed between actuator bracket and turbo housing.. work from underneath the car mate.. its much easier.. just remove mud gaurds for easy fitting..
wont need one if its below 0.8 mate, fuel cut is around 0.82 or something keep it below fuel cut and you should be fine dont even fit the fcd unless ur getting ur fpr set up or fueling adjusted, just keeps it safe incase u overboost.
