haha, exactly mate, nah actually it has good memories tbh, I hate her anyway. But on a negative note, altho I could afford to insure this car 5 years ago with 1ncb, at 130 a month (which aint cheap i know), now with 6ncb and being 26, it would cost over 200 a month... I have had a claim though...

Hi guys, bit of a dilema here, My friend has a car he wants to sell.. I want to buy it off him, however he has 2 months left on his insurance, and he doesn't plan to get another car straight away.. but he still wants to gain the extra years no claims bonus... is there anyway of doing this...

Sorry been really busy and not had a chance to work on the car.. If i get it a good service, what sort of things can go wrong with leaving a car to rest for 3 years, that would fail an MOT.. for example won't the rear brakes be seized?

exactly that! well this is what I assume happened, as it went from just a dead battery to nothing! a blown alternator fuse.. so I can only assume the guy that tried to help me, actually made the case alot worse

yeah, the 15A ones were in the engine bay mate Ill give the WD40 a go ;)

well the alternator fuse had blown, but i managed to get that one replaced str8 away it was 80A but the 2 i changed today was 15A Having a job changing the oil now... the draining bolt is STIFF as ever, any tips?

Thanks for your post guys yeah, a fuse! (really dumb that I didn't spot this earlier), any idea what it would of been to? as its all in Japanese! lol I noticed the belt going round which hadn't done on earlier attempts dead happy that I have finally got it running...
