That turbo looks fine. The wastegate is closed like it should be and if there is no shaft play then it shouldn't be the turbo. You said when you drove it there was a whiring noise when boost should have come in. That sounds like a boost leak. Thats the noise mine makes if an intercooler pipe...

Thats sound like a good powerband for the amount of power its got. At what rpm does power start to drop off? Bet its fun on the streets.

So whats the complete spec on the engine? Got the dyno printout from this? Looks very good! How laggy is the turbo? When do you get boost etc? Good job anyway!

Replied the same in CivicSport lol: Well originally it was £350 for mapping but now with all the extra work he's done probably over £1k. ECU is Hondata S300 and Matt is suppsoed to be good so the tune should be spot on. Its got launch control with anti-lag so he'll be setting that up too...

Latest on mine is The Racing Line got the engine started last Thursday and everything seems ok so far. Tuning is this week so fingers crossed for me too!

When the engine is running is there any knocking? Is it actually zero oil pressure or is it just low? And you are sure your gauge is accurate?

Yep Gee is right. I know its different but F1 cars only have what, 2.5l engines? So are they upset about not having a lot of torque? Same with bikes. The only way to get more torque is forced induction, bigger engine or more cylinders. From wikipedia: The power a Formula One engine...
