I must admit I didn't expect the the stock CT9 to make that kind of power at that boost. It seems there is little need to use a CT9 hybrid which at most I have only managed to get about another 9hp from. Glad you are enjoying the car Arnold, it does drive very nicely now. Ed

Yes the bumper bar was trimmed. Took all of 10 minutes so I'd argue that it was quicker and far neater than cutting the bumper. Also some additional brackets were welded to the intercooler to support it from the top. Its now so sturdy I could put my entire weight on it and it didn't move at all...

Emerald is very good value for money. Has three maps too (its another one I map) however its not directly suited to the starlet and will need sensor changes etc. It however is VERY well supported by its developer Dave Walker. I fitted one to a Porsche turbo recently and it worked very well.

Toby good point about the RR being a tough one, totally agree. Put it on any other dyno it would be 10% more.

Then one needs to look at the physical components of the car. At most your going to pick up a couple of hundred rpm max by playing with the ecu. Ed

As others have said, the EMU will need a base map to start with. It will do nothing without. I don't supply base maps as they are different to each car, and people rely on them too much. EMU can be a minefield too for those who don't know what their doing with them with potential to do great...
