ive removed my head and cams im goin to refit my head tomorrow hopefully. how do i re time my cams is there a diagram showing timing marks to time them up or where to mech them bk together?

i no they smart, based on the avensis and with celica gt4 running gear from the st215. they r 4x4turbo. e&b imports ?

when it blew i turned the engine streight off away its only been driven up on to the kirb so head should be fine. ive just had a timing kit fitted 4 days ago so i can use the same 1 its only done 22miles, and the full head gasket set and bolts come to £60.

ive took my head off after loosing compression between cylinders 1 and 2 and luckly its just the gasket thank god, its a new 1 tho it wasnt using oil or water it was a clean piece blown out at the smallest point between the 2 cylinders cheap fix. thanks to every 1 who advised, il b bk on the...

all the same i think only difference in the 82 n 91 is the turbo in the 91 has an extra rotor

i can only find ss gaskets for turbo and i just want a standard gasket. u no wer i cn find a standard 1?

ive had a look they look the same and they have the same head, any 1 give me confamation that they r the same??????????????/

check the bearing it tightend correctly else it will whirr if it is too tight or too slack

is a standard starlet head gasket the same as a turbo head gasket? any 1 no?

i cn get a gt4 st 185 cheaper than a 4efte lump any 1 no wot id have to du to fit it or any 1 already done it?
