Also mate a complete f**k up when taking the two 10mm nuts of the housing, managed to break the head off one of them :( should be fun trying to get that out

Stuck a new stat in the gt today and it seems to have sorted her out, temp gauge sits below half way and doesnt move...is that normal temp for the gt?

About halfway mate where its supposed to be, top hose is quite warm and the bottom hose is cold :s

The top rad hose is pretty hot but the bottom hose is only warm up towards the thermostat the rest of the hose is cold!

Cheers John i will go out and let her warm up and check that out! Only seen you at the last minute the other day didnt get time to beep lol.

Hopefully its just the stat, it got a new water pump and belts last week so god knows whats wrong with her
