Sounds like fuel cut to me too. Is the boost stable at .8 , or is it spiking? Wastegates on the standard ct9 are quite small, and don't expell enough exhaust gasses when you start playing with the breathing.
Think where you live has a lot to do with it too.
I've always been quite lucky with insurance prices, but I think that's generally down to me living in a quiet part of Wales.

Do you mean the breather that is usually linked to the re-circulating dump
valve?
If so, many on here fit a rocker cover breather filter,which should be ok, otherwise you could fit an oil catch tank to be all prim and proper with the law!

Leave your engine running, and have a nosey by the injectors and fuel rail for any signs of petrol, also, check round your fuel filter and any other pipework!
