Just make sure you clean the filter out with carb cleaner before fitting it. Should be fine and if its a bit slow to start off the petrol will lube it up and will work fine after a short time
If your gona be pushing it at all hard, go for the Redline shockproof.
Shockproof blue would be ideal

Looks like something metal managed to flow into the head and bounced around inside the head. You can see the valve is all pushed inwards towards the cyl passably cuase by the metal been forced against the valve trying to get iv with vacuum and boost
You can visualy check it first (build up of rust from water), then test it by dropping it into how water (should ideally be 80-85deg) and see that the thermostat opens fully
This happend me and i cut away at the casing the help the wire, and managed to get about 5mm of wire. Enough to let me soldier the broken wires together
