Looking for advices.

Hi, everyone. I have '96 Paseo with 5E-FE. I'm planning an engine build:

- Speedvision manifold and downpipe
- TD04L or TD05 turbo with FMIC
- 330cc injectors
- Custom 60mm exhaust
- GReddy E-manage Ultimate
- Apex'i AVC-R
- AEM UEGO

What else I may need to run 0.7-0.8 bar? What max. boost can stock pistons/rods/crank handle? What turbo will you advise TD04 or TD05 or maybe some else?

Probably wouldn't run anything more than 0.6 bar on the stock 5EFE rods, they are as thin as chickens legs.
You'll need a good clutch, would be far better off with a td04 with virtually no lag at all on the 5E.

Try to get 5E-FHE rods with low comp pistons.

What would you advise Scat or Pauter rods? And what to do with stock c150 tranny? Will it be ok with aftermarket clutch at 180-200hp? At what RPM will TD04L and TD05 run 1 bar?

I personally would choose pauter, but scat have been proven to work and they do the job, also cost less.
C series gearboxes are pretty strong, you shouldn't have any problems other than the clutch.

You should stick to the stock rev limit, 7200rpm, past this point is worthless and just putting extra strain on components unless uprated parts are used.

after these mods you probably be doing around 310+hp..
