Ideas for my EP71

Hey fellas, I just picked up an 85' EP71 for $400, all factory C150 5spd and and 12V EFI 2E-E.
Just wanting some ideas in what to do, preferably wanting to work with the existing engine and box. Heard from various people that +T conversion is a waste of time for a 2E-E and recommend swapping for a 4E-FTE.
What do you guys think, will probably do a swap at some point but interested what options I have at the moment.

How is your budget like?
I would fit a 4EFTE with TD04 and a stand alone ECU.

4efte would be my pick. Power to weight would be excellent.

Something different like a 2ZZ celica GT 190hp engine with stage 2 cams, then if you get sick off that fire a rotrex supercharger on for 300 hp+

i'd save up for now and make sure everything else is good/upgraded with the car---bodywork, lights, suspension, brakes, wiring, bushings, etc.

after saving to the target/goals you have, then may be do a 4efte or "5efte" engine and turbo swap (hybrid ct9, td04l, gt28rs) with the supporting mods (managment, fmic, exhaust, etc) depending on what you want to achieve

or you could just keep it as it is and enjoy it like that too
