new pump in (again) and seems ok, 12v at the pump constant also. Fingers crossed its lasts..........

the car is standard other than what appears to be a knackered old hks filter and a wepr exhaust at standard boost. I think the old pump was a td developments pump, the new pump was a genuine toyota item. The sock locates and clips to the bottom of the pump, it could be pulled off if stuck when...

I get nothing until it's literally tapped lightly with a hammer or spanner etc on the pump itself. Messing with the wires make no difference , it only will work when tapped. The relay is fine too, its as if something inside the pump itself is falling and hitting it is bringing it back to life...
