Did you use the normal puller for the syncro and gear? How did you get the bearings off? Did you use press to get the gear and syncro back? I have to do this too, so all the info is much appreciated.:teach::noidea:

My car was idling steady 1100rpm and I opened the ICV to find this: Because the copper thing is broken the valve is leaking all the time and rises the idle. I made a temporary fix and replaced the small spring with a spring from a ballpoint pen as it's longer, but it's not working very good...

Is idle stable or going up and down? Check plugs and leads first.

Got this problem too as I mentioned in another thread here. So have anyone got this problem with stock clutch and flywheel? Problem seems to exist after installing a aftermarket clutch and light flywheel, so quite sure the problem is related to clutch-flywheel combo or do you disagree?

I have 15x8 HM3s with ET40, I think ET38 would be better looking, but ET40 lines up nicely enough with edges :) edit: ep91

I'm having actually the same problem sometimes, but I'm not sure about the clutch I have, because it has been changed by previous owner. It would be nice to know the cause of problem, so could have it fixed without changing everything. :confused: edit: I only know that it's 3-paddle sintered...

I got my indiglo dials installed yesterday and took supply voltage from a green wire, which will light up original backlights, or at least I thought so. Now when I start the car, indiglows won't light up, but original bulbs are working to light up needles. Indiglows are only working when car...
