I would weld it personally,that penny comes under alot of pressure and heat,just weld the arm to the penny and then get a dremmel tool and grind off the rough weld and u will be fine

Haha I rebuilt the engine 3k ago with new pistons and rings and bearings.so it should be ok on that front haha like you say for thr price of a cheap airfilter that fits snug behind the grill I mite aswell buy one

I was planning on doing a relocation kit but running without the filter you see so it would get maximum cold air as the open pipe would be behind my grill

I take it the spool will be it quicker and sharper due to less restrictions in the pipe work once I've relocated it.does it make a big differene in sound when it's relocated?

I'm thinking of doing my own DIY air filter relocation kit to the front grill on my ep82.and I would like no filter and just say some mesh gauze fabricated into a circle and fit that into the end of my silicone pipe..obv it's not going to filter aswell.what will the pro's and Cons be of this setup?
