I thought that since im trimming fuel out with the controller, if it fails it would go rich? But it would hit fuel cut first since the MAP voltage is no longer being reduced. At 0.65bar boost, and standard fpr+injectors, the car is running 11 afr, when i up the boost to 0.8bar it runs 10.4...

just to add some confusion :D Ive found that the stock FPR and injectors can easily run a td04 at 1bar. All you need is a fuel controller, such as an SAFC or SFC Hyper R, to trim the map voltage under fuel cut, at 4,5,6,7,8k rpm points. Ive been running this for a couple days at 11.4 afr WOT...

could be running really rich, i found that 44psi on the rrFPR was perfect for 1bar on td04 at setting 8 on HKS fcd (so many acronyms)

So i put the standard FPR back on, now its doing the opposite! Its idling and cruising rich, 11.4 And at WOT its normal. Ive noticed that removing the vac pipe from the FPR when its idling, has no effect.

yea, unplugged makes no difference really, checked timing and its fine, total mystery this...

i tried changing it a while ago but had no affect, ive also replaced the water temp sensor, and the air intake temp sensor. I checked the wiring to make sure the ecu was getting a reading from the O2 and it was.

i tried bypassing the fcd but it had no effect, must be the fpr or fuel pump, hopefully its the fpr as thats an easier job lol

ok cool, ill try that, i have an hks fcd, and ive just set it to 12 as i was told thats basically off, so ill take it out of the loop completely

the wideband is brand new, i doubt its faulty, because i can feel what it says is happening, if u know what i mean ill try putting the standard fpr on, if it doesnt change ill get a new pump cheers for the help :)

could i test for this by setting up a camera in the engine bay to watch the fuel pressure gauge? and if its dropping its probably the pump? i should have mentioned this before, but sometimes when driving on the motorway at a constant speed, the car will go full lean, then if i lift off or put...

walbro 255, if it was faulty wouldnt it be worse when on full boost?

yea it feels really down on power, just doesnt want to pull away, then it lurches forward when it spools up, no missfires or backfiring so dont think its ignition

yea ive put it to stock fuel pressure, 2.4bar/34psi its the standard ecu so there must be something wrong surely?

it goes to about 17 lean even when not flooring it, just pulling away normally. Its on standard ECU so hasnt been mapped or anything, i just upped the fuel pressure to compensate for this problem, but now id like to fix it. Would it help if i take a video of the wideband readout?

Went out a wee drive to get a better description. If i pull away from a standstill, and put my foot down full, the car goes full lean, then a few seconds later is lurches then begins to build boost and go rich.

It goes to 17, the when it builts around 0.4bar of boost it quickly goes round to about 12, then makes its way to 11 as it reaches 0.6bar boost. When driving on the motorway at around 60mph, when i WOT the car jumps to around 11 afr and stays there, which is fine.

I have an AEM wideband, and have noticed that at low speeds, driving about town at low rpm, the car goes really lean if i put my foot down, goes to around 17 afr. Once it starts to boost up its fine, and goes rich, but surely this cant be right. Ive put the car back to standard fuel...
