    That turbo looks fine. The wastegate is closed like it should be and if there is no shaft play then it shouldn't be the turbo. You said when you drove it there was a whiring noise when boost should have come in. That sounds like a boost leak. Thats the noise mine makes if an intercooler pipe...

    Replied the same in CivicSport lol: Well originally it was £350 for mapping but now with all the extra work he's done probably over £1k. ECU is Hondata S300 and Matt is suppsoed to be good so the tune should be spot on. Its got launch control with anti-lag so he'll be setting that up too...

    Latest on mine is The Racing Line got the engine started last Thursday and everything seems ok so far. Tuning is this week so fingers crossed for me too!

    When the engine is running is there any knocking? Is it actually zero oil pressure or is it just low? And you are sure your gauge is accurate?

    B16b and B16a2 are NOT the same block. B16b is a destroked b18c5 from an Integra Type R. And if you dont think vtec makes a difference in power then drive a b16 with vtec and then drive it with vtec disabled and then tell me the difference.... Its not about a sudden increase in power...

    With that setup on a b16 you might see 200bhp. You've basically got cams, able to rev higher, free flowing exhaust and intake. Defin not worth the money imo. You could spend that in much better areas than a new sump, oil cooler and rad cap that you dont need! Just stick a b20 bottom end with...

    Well in that case then its either head gasket or a problem with the head so your gonna have to remove the head what ever happens. Better get crackin! Doing valve stem seals is fiddly enough with the head never mind with the head still on.

    Only time this has happened to me was when i had just rebuild the bottom end (on a civic) with forged pistons and was getting oil on the spark plugs. I didnt rebore when doing the rebuild and it turned out that the cylinders had gone slightly oval so oil was seeping past the rings slightly...
