is there a guide to install a standard engine into an ep91? no crazy swaps with different engines. just a guide for the standard 4etfe to go into the ep91. need to know where the hoses, etc need to go for the turbo and vacuum system to function correctly. I've searched but only been able...

the previous owner used cardboard and tape to fix the gear selector. so that's fixed noe by using the proper replacement parts. now I found out that's its a wrong gearbox in the car now. is there much difference between a N/A gearbox and a glanza box?

what's the best way to check the efi relay? car idles fine, he will check the fuel pump. just remembered the service last month included the fuel filter. rev counter sort of works, just reads really low eg, it idles at the second bar of the counter. he will do an eml test to thanks

friend of mine, his ep82 is having a problem where as he describes "like the fuel cut but its not". it happens when he's taking off and cruising, not sure at what revs because that gauge is broke. he's not horsing the car, just driving normally. the eml doesnt come on when it happens...

the mechanic had a look, big ends gone, number 3 cylinder spun the bearing and marked the crank. there is also metal contamination all around the engine as well and that it would cost 300£ to swap it. i think this will be another glanza to broke and scrapped....

cheers for the info dac69er, still learning about cars. its been well maintained since its been in my hands if I'm honest. checking fuilds regularly, serviced recently, hardly ever boosted and always left to cool down. engine was probably always been on its way out and I've just nursed it for ages

thanks, reckon it'll be cheaper to get another engine? I wouldn't know how to rebuild it. would love to keep the car but if its too expensive to fix I'll have to get rid of it

yeah actually does sound like someone hammering away in the engine bay. I suspect the big end is away, will it cause the revs to drop and engine to cut out? how much would it cost to fix?

I think its an issue within the engine. its like a mechanical clunky noise that goes faster as the revs go up

having engine problem on my ep91, its making a clunky sound and revs dropping to zero when ideling. it can drive but sounds horrible any ideas people? thanks

bought an ep91 that came with a carbon fibre bonnet with bonnet pins and its been raised up as well. the problem is it doesnt securely close and needs to be held down by the bonnet pins, this means anyone can open my bonnet. which cant be good but the safety latch still catches so ive got...

first of all, gear selection to 1st and 2nd is sticky. when I move to gear stick from neutral to the left it doesn't spring back to the middle position, I think because of this it makes selection of 1st/2nd a bit hard. anyone else have experience with this? now with my clutch, some ballbeg...
