Ok after doing my HG the compression was too high and my bottom end is knocking and about to go. Sound like a machine gun! What is my best option? Do I get a new engine, if so where from? Or do I break it for parts? Any ideas, anyone.....

Hi all, Was messing around down by the thermo housing and now when I accelerate I'm not getting alot and am receiving an engine management code of 22 CTS open circuit/short circuit. Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks, J

What is the maximum boost I could run through a TD04 with a fully forged engine? what sort of BHP should I expect?

I am thinking about buying another engine and working on it on an engine stand while still running my stock engine while doing this. My question is can I take a standard uk starlet engine and forge that? Uprating all the internals ie pistons rods etc. Will it then essentially be a turbo engine?

I just got my HG done and noticed I had no thermostat. I have since put in a thermostat and now notice my temperature sometimes creeps above the half way mark. Most of the time it stays on half way. Can anyone let me know what is "normal" for my temp gauge. Thanks
