    Jay is it easier to fit a P&P ecu to a MK1 auto??? am i right in thinking the MK1 had the same ecu for auto and manual versions??

    Its still here on my drive been off the road a couple if years but im trying to get the auto gearbox sorted. needs some work cosmetically but then again it is almost 20 years old.

    well it appears the speedo cable still works so most be a a problem somewhere. all fuses are working so no idea on my rev gauge. where do i find the pick up for the rpms? any other clues???

    im attempting to get my mk1 back on the road. when it was last driven all the dials and gauges were working. i have had the engine started and i had the car moving but the speedo and rev gauge now no longer seem to work. any thoughts?

    They sure have! Have moved house and finished 1university degree going back to do a top up year this year. Just hoping the relacement auto box is a direct fit not sure what model it came off other than knowing it was a turbo'd starlet.
