used a vice with 2 bits of wood, worked a treat. thanks

they are billet cams, no flat edges so can't really use a vice.

how can i do this? do i need a specific tool? the service bolt wasn't put in place at the time of removing.

i believe the cams are from greece, they don't have the hex part. i managed to remove it now anyway. thanks for the help.

billet doesn't have the hex part. also should the service bolt on the inlet cam go straight through when the cams are in place, as currently the service bolt hole doesn't line up on the inlet gears. do i need to remove the cams and re-tension the inlet gear?

how can i remove the cam gear? timing belt is off, is there a way to lock the cams in place?

Can I check this with the chassis number?

Are there any particular documents I should ask the owner for? Do I need to notify anyone in ireland that I'm bringing the vehicle to uk

south. taking my mate with me now, he is a trader and says he can drive it home for me. how do i check if its stolen / crash damaged. can i do a hpi check or something similar?

Would I be able to drive it home, can I insure it on Irish plates..

someone drove into the rear of my car, i believe my car is a write off. car is being collected on monday for inspection by insurance company. i declared the exhaust and other mods, however unsure if it will be ok to leave the decat on. has anyone else been in the same situation..

just replaced the leads, seems to be fine now!! thanks for the help guys

put new plugs in, problem is now worse..takes a while to start.. sounds even more like a scooby now
