We've a number of 6 speed gearboxes down the shed mate. Most have 4.3 final drive, one we are putting into the roadster next has 4.5 final drive. Obviously the roadster helical LSD slots straight in. Whether you need your bel housing on the rest I don't know but you're welcome to have a look.

I always thought the lower 4wd final drive helped a lot for racing but don't remember anyone using a similar 2wd gearing setup

6 speed c series aren't strong Phil. Real weak link on even a 2zz motor.

As far as I know from when I used one it runs on its own hks map sensor and obviously std ecu runs the std map sensor at the same time. You don't need the gcc but it helps fine tuning especially low down. Saves petrol. I ran this with a manual boost controller and it worked ok. And 370...

Ran a vf24 and a 29 on a forged 4e ( basically the same as a 28) and at 1.4 bar they were awesome. At a bar it just wasn't worth it on a 4e. People discount the td04 just because it's been done loads of times-it's a great turbo, and takes abuse unlike the non-rebuildable vf28

Problem there is the vf28 needs over a bar to give its best and no way a toms ecu is gonna fuel that. Better off with a td04 at a bar boost.

Hope you're running super unleaded with that ecu- probably the injectors tho as jay said.

Thought it was the same engine but toyota don't seem to list actuator as a separate part so I can't check.

I've got two. One off a rev 2 mr2 turbo and one off a rev 3. So equivalent to st185 gt4 and st205. Which one you need?

Would be interesting to see if a billet wheeled td04 would be any better.

It has a p18 exhaust housing, can't be rebuilt, only comes alive at 1.2 bar, dies horribly at 1.5. Great while they last. Vf35 only slightly laggier but tough too.
