So there for power powersteering.. Block them up so.. have another 1 blocked for the power steering already. The air temp sensor isnt in the induction pipe either. Would that cause it not to cold start 1st time? And the second picture, dont block that pipe atal just leave it there..?

recently decided to put a 4efe jap engine in my ep70 starlet. The engine didnt have alot with it but cold start on the car isnt working.. takes 5 goes and the engine ticks over no problems., Only thing is i want this cold start sorted and there are 2 things im not sure where they go on the...

Ya no problem, you said near the start of the thread you used 2 head gaskests for your compression for your turbo.. What size altogether is you head gasket now??(1.5mm)?? What piston rings did you use on the 4efte piston in the 5e block?(4e or 5e)??

I cam in from working on my ep70 and saw this thread and just couldnt stop reading an hour half later..:) Hardcoreep, fair play in all the info you posted up. I have been woundering about 5efte engines for a while and now i understand that bit extra that i might actually opt for this setup...

yup definetly wired wrong. Get a 12v fused from behind the radio, and earth. Then there is a wire diagram that comes with the rsm that shows the pins that you tap into ,for delimite and rev clock. Its pretty easy to wire on the gt starlets. as for the fcd im not to familar with them so...

Well it seems a jam ecu for a base to start and can always work off that to get up to 1bar boost and up to the 200 or near it with a hybrid turbo.:D Anyone else have that same setup?? How ye find it?

The rsm shud power up just using the red 12v ingnition, and black earth.. If the rsm isnt powering up with just them 2 wires they are more then likely faulty. As for the fcd, can u disconect that entierly to and see will the car run right?

fair play chris., All the info good and bad is a help at this stage. If there is people running them turbos could they let me know the following. Managment there using, if any.. boost they run them at, which turbo they are using, what other mods they are using with it to enhance it, and...

I would fly over dates depending on if i have the 4efte droped into the ep70..:D I would love a before anf after dyno of the mods.:D
