I had the same, temp kept very cool - then started over heating after a while, replaced the stat in 5 minutes and all is perfect!

i have just fitted one as well - works alot better after it has been on most of the day! i only got decat and filter! spits out like 3 - 4 foot flames!

Ok cool, atm im just running a fmic, no bov, decat, filter, and removed the solenoid but am only getting around 6psi? it feels really quick and pulls like a train (reconnd turbo) any ideas why it would be running low? just took a bleed valve off would that of turned it down? (if it was already...

right i might have to get a bit more into this lol... So the SAFC is not going to help me when i up the boost in fuel terms? and are you saying i dont need a fcd if i have a safc? because i thought you needed both, or the greddy bcc which i was going to go for. not looking to get massive...

Hi guys, sorting my ep82 set up atm, just wondering if i get an electronic boost controller will i still need an uprated actuator? ( running a ct9 ) Any remarks welcome. thanks

can i wire an A/F gauge into this or do they all have individual ones.

i had this, then the alternator went! save ur self some hassle n get a new alternator, mine burnt out the battery to so had to get a new batt!!

wish some one told me that b4 i done mine, i ended up just taking it all off thinking this cant be right lol.. should post that as a help topic ^^

haha too long. but alot of mucking about, and bolts just did not want to come off, so had to remove some bits and bobs, think i had 2 remove the housing to get to it in the end, rather than just undoin the pump.

i had to do one of these, it was quite long actually the main problem was getting the housing off as the bolts were covered by pulleys and other shiney bits! i took the alternator out and went from the back!

do you still have the FCD? cash waiting.. thanks

Yer i realised this earlier after speaking to a couple of people, green lantern gave me the alternator idea! and towed me to the local ! havent heard from em yet apart from a big bill! mentioned the belt situation and just done the usual sales man talk and said how he had checked it lol...

yer belt was slipping making noise.. just took it to garage need a new alternator and battery! doh! thanks anyway

Since i have had a service on my starlet, now and then the battery light and the square box with heat lines coming out of it appear together.. any one know what the problem is for this?! Thanks p.s car keeps very cool.. so didnt think it was to do with over heating?!
