Hi all, My brake booster is stuffed and have a replacement. Ive never changed one on a car with ABS? Is it just the same as a non ABS car? i.e take out the old unit and put in the new and just bleed the brakes at the wheels as normal? or does something need to be done at the ABS...

What do you mean by ''fix''? Changing the studs is a piece of p*ss. Feast your eyes on the below https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66ATKL4G04M or get a stud extractor it will ruin the threads tho, so you'll need new studs. Cheers Mark

The MBC looks like its plumbed in ok (from what I can see). As long as one of the pipes on the MBC goes into the oulet on the front of the turbo and he other goes on the wastegate/actuator its plumbed in ok. The yellow one on the air intake should go to the hi/lo solenoid, unless like John...

All fitted now guys. Went with a 8mm barbed fitting and 6.4mm fuel line with 3mm vac line. Ive set the pressure to 34psi which is roughly the same as stock. Now time to get the HKS FCD sorted up the boost and then onto the dyno for a setup and bit of a tune cheers

thanks garry, Ive just been on the turbosmart website and there is 2 sized barbs for my rrfpr. Theres a 6mm barb and an 8mm barb. Theres a thread on here that I found last night on how to fit a rrfpr and he uses 1/4inch (6.4mm) fuel line. Would I use the 6mm barb or 8mm barb for that? cheers
