Thats fine, just hitting the rev limiter. I've hit mine a few times and it backfires. These can rev past 9k rpm pretty easily.

There's 2 brothers in Japan with a 385bhp Storia X4... All that from a 713cc engine!!!

The fastest I know of is 12.3 seconds. 0-60 of 4.3 and a 0-100mph in 9.1

Running around 200bhp, went through every gear for a 1/4 mile and topped out at 109 with a Group A Gearbox.

The same guy now races a Storia/Sirion X4 at around 200bhp. Similar speeds.

Yes, 5 gears to 100mph - top speed 109. This is with a Motec ECU and roughly 28psi.

The time is still more than impressive especially having to use all gears!
