hi people i need some advice with this mini project again.
we thinkin of buying the vtec conversion kit and rear coilovers etc really wna make sumthin special. and its gna be a b16 or d16 to go in hopefully. the car will basically be used as a weekend toy. obv it shud be fast with say a 160bhp b16, but was gna turbo it aswell and try and put down some good drag times at santa pod.
i joined ek9.org to try and find some stuff out but no1 seems to know lol. i wna know how much power a b16a2 can handle on stock engine. or wud sumthin like a k20 be betta power cus i kno some ep3's are suercharged 300bhp on stock engine no problem. wud be mental in a mini but its just a road/drag toy.
ive also heard d series r very good for turbo'ing. but its a tough choice. reason i ask is weve been stripping it down and everythings out and done now ready to go to the bodyshop. so gettin to the business end of things.
any info peeps? i know this is a toyota forum but i know some people on ere have done up lots of cars inc hondas.
