Anyone into jet-skiing?

Well had ago on one of the typical beach jet-skis (13000 kawaskai) when i was on holiday and loved every minute of it!!!


So a few questions, anyone on here into it?

How do you get into it?

What are the different types of jet-ski? /racing?

Costs and insurance?

13000 kawasaki musta been an animal lol. They are alcoholics on fuel, like to break down and cost a good bit to fix have to be brought to specialists to fix em great craic though but I defo would'nt buy one.

Yeah it was fast mate, was awesome as it was my first time on one and the sea was calm as could be, was getting some speed up haha

But yeah they do drink, and i did see a few break down from the beach.

My mate said in the next bay along they had some 1800 Kawasakis lol said they are hold to keep on!!

You mean 1300 lol. Everyone says the same after getting a go on one for the first time they are temperamental fuckers and can end up costing a fortune. They are good craic but you'd end up been harassed by mates when the weathers good they aint gonna pay for it if it breaks down lol. Might be a good idea to go splits on one between a few of ye.

i've had a couple mate, the ones on holiday are restricted to death for the sake of novices.
wait till u try a proper one it willl blow u away.
most of the newer ones are fuel injected so arent as unreliable or greedy on fuel as people make out.
if you use it in salt water just always make sure to wash it and run fresh water through it afterwards.
if your looking for a race ski then seadoo is your best bet as there are plenty ex race seadoos out there for sale.
and make sure to get a single seater as the big three seaters are useless for stunts.
we could 180, fishtale, nose dive and do loads of other stunts on mine.
only thing is your better buying one in the winter as u will get it cheaper.

i did it in turkey dude, so much fun got paranoid i was gunna fall but i found the faster i went the safer it felt, 1st time on one an i felt like a natrual ha. wouldn mind doing it more often as long as the water was nice an warm lol

do it around here alot with the mates.. getting in on the lakes is the problem tho cause its not aloud..
