i have no fuel cut! (jam FCC fitted)

exactly, the fcd regardless of make hks, jam, greddy etc etc stops the safc. s- afr from fuelling over fuel cut. and so does fuel cut.

fcd's fool the ecu into thinking the boost hasnt risen above it's safety level.

the s - afr and s- afc use this same signal to add and remove fuel.

so you cant fuel past fuel cut with a safc or safr, only with an rrfpr, and then trim the fuelling with the safr/safc.

well thats annoying! good job its not as high as fuel cut then as i need to raise my mid section as thats lean!

what order should i be getting these wired in?

ecu/fcd/s-afr
or
ecu/s-afr/fcd

have found differing choices on the site and wondered which is correct way

oh bollox!

my fcc needs moving then!
but doesnt that mean i would be adjust the fuel before it gets cut down my fcc?

shouldnt my s-afr be after the fcd so i can put the fuel back up to a safer level than that it has been cut down to?

yes thats what you want, other wise it keeps hitting fuel cut.

i know cos i made this mistake.

also the s - afr needs a true signal to adjust not a fake one given by the fcd

fair do's ricky my man i will trust you on that!

will get my jam FCC ripped out and put in where it needs to be installed then when i try getting this working!

would i be right in thinking if i used the wiring diagram for a safc and fcd setup as done by ben-gt then it would be wired in correctly?

lol i payed £110 for the s-afr and jam FCC somewhat cheaper than e-manage blue.
and setup isnt alot as i am only paying a small amount to get them setup.

and for what i need it for it should be enough when i up my boost and get new manifold i will probably put better engine management on.

yup i did tho tbh i would just go for e manage blue for the price tho it depends on ur needs

yes, but it depends on budget.

i picked all my management up for £100, and it does what i need it to for now, i agree its not the best though.

eventually i will be getting an emanage ultimate, or possibly the hdi equivalent pending price.it's all money though at the end of the day.

if u look about u can pick up a used e manage kit for that money with every thing needed

yeah but emanage would cost me alot more to have installed and set-up believe me! and i have seen emanage that cheap! around £200 for the full setup with sensors and harness seems to be the rough price atm and i dont have the extra to pay for that.
