silver has some less HP an torque than a blacktop
it is a hard swap as far as i know. easier to do a 4efte swap.

Thats an awsome conversion! i love that engine, i want one in my ae86 when i eventuialy get one, can get over 200bhp in n/a form from them with very high revs and sweet induction sound from teh quad throttle bodies

Agreed is the silver top the engine model with 4 individual TB's?
That engine with those cams etc would sound awsome and put out a nice bhp figure.

thats different in an AE86 but to change a 4efte for that engine in my opinion is pointless.... unless it was put in a KP RWD starlet where it was more suited then i cant say i really agree with that.... also to get over 200HP isnt cheap from 165HP in an N/A 1.6 block......

yea it wont be cheap but when you compair the eqivilant on turboing one or similar mods power figure on a starlet even its probly not all that diffrent:
for the N/A: Cams, ECU/piggyback breather mods injectors 200bhp ish.
and for the Turbo : Hybrid, breather mods FMIC injectors ECU/piggyback
say its thats 4efte and 4age i think it would be pretty similar to get teh same results for ££
The blacktop is the newer engine of the 2 and both the 20vales have quad throds as standard. the blacktop puts out about 5bhp more lol.
theres also the 4agze to concider (supercharged model) which with little mods makes 200bhp with lots of torque and could be swapped for a turbo as has more suited internals, but the 20valve has been known to be better for trackdays ect, the agze is probly better for the road depending on what you want.
i want to epriance a high power n/a in a light car (Q the honda's)

well thats bs its not pointless... if it was for response etc it would be perfect. no lag and instant power.. but taking out a 4efte i just cant see the advantages
