yep im pretty sure it was run up in 5th gear dave. as it was having some traction issues in 4th.

but like i say, the reason it was on the dyno was for mapping, not for a 'power figure'. so think of it what you will.. :)

regardless of the exact power figure it is pretty incredible that an engine with the displacement of the 4EFTE can push anything near those figures. Everytime I see a high horsepower 4efte it never fails to impress me :)

definitely impressive power. But even it is 255ATW is still silly power for a 1.3 engine.

Would love to see what its like on the road, i bet its a beast!!

very very impressive,

so am i right in saying this hasnt had any porting done, or any other work to it other than head gasket pistons and rods?

yep no head work, the bottom end assembly has been lightened a fair amount mind, had a guy through my work who does my boss's clio cup race car engines do the balancing etc and he did do a top job, def knows his stuff :cool:

looking at the graphs you can see the head and cams is whats holding it back, as there wasnt a massive jump in power between 1.6bar and 1.8bar, the turbo is flowing at its max on this motor i think. but i think bens happy with the power its got, cant really make the use of all of it as it is so any more would just be a waste of time :homer:

that top mounted turbo looks amazing, who did the custom mani and dump pipe for it?

lol full boost around 4.5 if i recall.. mental when it hits boost really throws you in your seat :homer:

yes i do miss the starbo you gay :( :haha: i look forward to being able to go all out on the next one though, no compramises this time :shoot: and it will still be 4e..
