I had my ep82 on the rollers running 0.8 bar on the standard ct9. Made 180 bhp but only around 130 at the wheels. is this normal? clutch and box seem tight as. i just want to gain more whp!

seems ok for a ct9 but i would of though you would need to be pushing 1bar for 180 or more mybe

Agree with billy, 0.8bar on a CT9 and 180bhp seems a tad optimistic.

What rolling road did you go to?

What other mods do you have?

^^^ as above, my ep91 only made 167bhp @ 1 bar on dyno dynamics rollers, need to get my filter relcated and FMIC, hopefully see closer to 175 next time...

my AEM boost gauge reads 0.9 but dyno graph reads a little over 0.8. it was at AFR in crawley.
mods: mani, 2.5 straight through. fmic, relocated fiter. sard fpr. hks super afr. magnecor leads, hks acctuator, hks fcd, hks bov, 255 fuel pump.
will get graph up asap.

Good spec list and wouldnt doubt it would make 180bhp but certainly not at 0.8bar i wouldnt expect.

When i bought my car it had similar mods plus an AVCR and at 1bar it run 170bhp.

12.5 -15% loss is what ur looking at ! 180 is way to high for 130whp

I hear people quote 160whp as around 190hp. i would just like too know why i'm loosing 50hp between the 2 and if it's normal. I know every car is different. cheers

i would say its the dyno and thats not really ur loss dude

Because the dyno you went to has been setup to add 27% to your WHP figure, probably to make you feel better. As Chris said, for a FWD car the transmission loss should be 15%ish.

e some pollu bushes and lightweight flywheel and you will see a nice increase

the only dyno i ever use now is dyno dynamics OR mainline dyno's

plain and simple mainline dyno's cannot b fooled into making a higher readout like u can on some.... on other types u can put the air temp sensor (the one that goes as close to the air filter as possible) close to the exhaust to make it give up to 60-100 hp more doesnt mean it actually makes the power though

and every single dyno is different, some are more accurate and as i said mainline and dyno dynamics are the best in the world atm for being right on the money for the readouts and also mainline is best for being "unfudgable"
