Boost Creep on near standard EP82

I've just read a post regarding boost creep some guy had on his nearly standard GT.

All of a sudden i've started to get it, the only mods are:

Cat back hks exhaust
HKS Panel Filter in standard airbox in the standard place.

was on the motorway the other day and a big metal brace came flying from under the van that was in front of me and smacked the bottom of my car at about 70mph.

Now i noticed last night that when i was on the motorway it boosted to .6bar np's then as i got to about 4-5k rpm is slowly crept up to around 0.7bar.

I have a HKS actuator waiting to go on and read that this could solve this problem but just wanted to know could that metal brace that hit the underside of my car caused this at all as i've had the exhaust & filter on for about 2 months and never had this issue before until now.

When the car was hit i pulled over and checked the underside and couldnt see any damage, there was a small amount of smoke coming from the flange part of the exhaust but to be honest it was a 2nd hard zorst and that was lookin a little tatty.

any ideas?

Fit the actuator then see how it goes. if not you might have to put a restriction of some sort in the air intake pipe.

ok ta dude, was talkin to Nick Jones bro, he said nick has the same prob and the actuator fixed it.

just abit weird how its only just started to happen thats all

Youll probly find its the outside air temps causing it the whole reason i went td04 was because of boost creep but look where it got me lol
