Braided Oil Return ?

Hi guys,
Is anyone running a braided oil return line with AN fittings on their setup? If so please could you share pics or tell me where you got it from?
I know the oem ct9 one is rubber. I am running one in the pic attached on my Td04. However, oil always eventually seeps through the piping.
Thanks

Was looking at braided lines for the Caldina ct26 swap, decided against them purely on cost compared to a factory pipe
Just get a new rubber pipe, plenty of places do the size we need :)

Thanks man. I’ve actually got a brand new ct9 one but it’s too short. Will have a look into what other rubber options there is.

I've tried everything including special lined silicone and nothing seems to work other than the stock pipe.

It's nitrile rubber, but it seems a bit of a mission to find one the right size with a right angle!!!!

If you find something, please share. It's 19mm Inside diameter

For years I use that heavy duty steel lined hydraulic hose just cut to size and clamped tight. It was that stiff it didn't kink. Was always a bit paranoid about it coming off but it was solid.

Was top mount kits I had so it was much longer than the 90° bends we normally use.

An10 fitting welded to the sump would be ideal, An10 drain fitting for the turbo, then measure and get a line made up by a hydraulic hose place. Its on the to do list.

Will look into the HD steel lined Hydraulic hose and the AN10 fittings. Have you got any pics of the hose on your setup v I know it’s a top mount but would give us an idea.
thanks

I have been using the same one for years on my TD04. not had any issues with it as yet. I used proper clamps to secure it, cant remember the exact size but this is what i used.

after reading your experiences, i'm relieved i spent the time over the years to modify the various turbo oil return pipes to be used with the stock ct9 oil return hose and clamps...so that's my suggestion---unfortunately some set ups may not permit this

may be is it possible to use 2 short pieces of this hose along with a copper/anodized 90 degree elbow/bend in the middle, secured with 4 of these clamps, to fabricate your oil return hoses...just throwing my thoughts out there

like the hose, the material for the bend/elbow would need to be compatible with oil

This is basically what the Factory Caldina pipe is, hard pipe from turbo into a 2 inch rubber pipe then hard pipe bolted into the sump :)

The one on the GT at the moment just uses a 90° silicone hose from Ash cut down a bit.

Its an older WEPR kit with a really long zig zag hard pipe. Pretty clever.

depending on the kit, i found WEPR tried to get the stock oil return hose to work ---once it was feasible
