Car getting mapped today(Monday)

im confused now lol,
not that im interested really as my car is mapped elsewhere.

but you said that the guys that left ecc to go to momentum werent mappers or mechanics, but that andy mercier was at ecc then momentum? isnt he the/a mapper?

Hi phil, the guys that left ecc to go to momentum are not mappers or mechanics they were the 2 sales guys. Adrian Bell is the only mapper that we have ever had working for us.

It would of been 1 of 2 people that would of told you that and they both work at momentum now. Sorry for the bad info would hate for you to be put off by that so if there is anything you need a price or info on please contact Davy or John.

yeah i understand that you'd get annoyed about all the rumours, ive heard a long list of bad storys about ECC and/or extorinate prices for silly simple things, think it was something called a "engine health check?" Im sure that not all of the stories are true, but im also sure that some are, you would have to agree that every place has its bad times and issues?

its best just to agree that this is the case and mention maybe that its only the bad stories you ever here! cause thats true also

just to clear this up before I get banned or something. Mr Mercer did work for ECC, not as a mapper though. He did sales mostly. He now works at Momentum Motorsport, where Richard Bulmer does the mapping - at least he did the last time I checked. Maybe mercer is mapping there now but I dont know.

Not to start a argument but why do you think momentum has been formed with the better staff of ecc?

The only people that left ecc were the 2 sales people. As stated before the only mapper and the mechanics that we have ever had are still in ecc.

You dont have to come to us for the Nitrous if it really pains you that much.

Think your the only guys that I know of that sell it.

When I went to ECC to get a rrfpr fitted and the car mapped to 1.1 bar all I got back was a £350 bill plus a brand new greddy profec 2 boost controller broken (£250 to replace) and charged 2 hours at £50 an hour fault finding because they could get the boost up above .5 bar (adjustible actuator was set to .5) and they couldn't figure out how to set an adjustable actuator. I wasn't even rang to be told they where carrying out the work.

For a professional tunning company I wasn't impressed.

Anyway that was over 2 years ago maybe alot has changed. I do know I'm starting to warm to the idea of using you guys again now that I know its Mercer that works at Momentum, I really didn't like him at ECC lol!
