Connecting My Pc To My Tv

right, im wanting too connect my pc too my telly, so i can watch things through my telly as my comp chair is way too unconfortable too sit on for too long.

ive got this port empty --

an thats the same on my telly.

can sone one tell me if i can connect it through them too ports?

if so what is the type of connector as i will have too get one this weekend.

any help will be repped thanks

dont need any sort of connector, just plug it straight in. i think your tv needs RGB port for it to work (think its called that)

telly has the same port as that blue one in the pic. dont have any hdmi outlets free. so will i be able too get a cable but with these connection on. an run it through that?

what type of cable connections are they? vga?

Yeah you need a VGA cable for the visual and you need a mini jack to mini jack for the audio.

I have a VGA at mine if you want it.

how do you connect a mini jack? how much you want for it dude, i might be able too pick up tomoz or sunday depending on what time im back from work.

You can have the VGA for free mate I've enough of them lol, the mini jack goes in the audio socket next to the VGA that says Audio and goes in to the green socket on soundcard/onboard sound (The one your speakers or headphones would be plugged in!)

your a diamond matey i thought i had one come with the pc but i cant find it anywhere

where would i be able too pick one of them up from mate, as i dont have that either lol, an will that go into the single port on the back off the telly? or one of the colour ones (red/white?)

- And VGA's usually come in male to male most places female to male are usually used as extensions or to connect to some switches. This could be worth getting aswell if you want to have your pc connected to your tv and monitor at the same time then it's a simple switch to swap between the two!.

mate youd be a gem, if you did. i have no idea where too get this shit from, an i would like it for sunday night as got that unstoppable movie i wud like too watch confortably lol.

go to maplins mate can get a 1mtr lead jack to jack 3.99 and
no u cant use red/white as it will be on a different source to your tv picture so. u will have to use male 3.5 jack to male 3.5 jack

you can have them free if you collect buddy! Ill be around all sat as i'm waiting for home delivery from tesco's lol.
