just had a look on youtube and theres a few corsa vxr's beating a ek9 type r, and one keeping up with focus st and anialating a few rx8's... surely i dont have a chance lol

I carnt see one beating an EK9 they are fast for what they are.
When my car was 142bhp I was level wit ha Focus ST. Im now 215bhp and I leave ST's. Like most people have said what does it matter? As long as your happy with your car thats ok. But I would say a standard Starlet would give a standard Corsa a good run for its money IMO. But get your self around 180bhp and see whos laffing.

I had a bash with a VXR corsa a few weeks ago, by the time I got out of 4th he was a good 20 car lengths behind me.

i had a play with a focus st170 i was slightly quiker.next to nowt thou.and im running standard boost with decat and front mount.wonder what hp mine is making????

Its good job were not allowed to discuss certain things. As the the tales we could post up ppl woudnt believe!

Ive never seen a VXR giving it some. Only toddling along driven by much much older ppl.

Be careful though guys this thread is gettin stuff mentioned in it ;)

at the end of the day, there will always be a car faster than you, no matter what you do.

you just sound childish saying i've beaten this and i've beaten that.

i dont always drive round sensibly, i can hoon it round country lanes, me and my mates go out for drives, BUT we never race each other. its when racing people that the bad accisents occur

Most 1600 cc turbo cars are rubbish the mirage cyborg is a good example it has a bigger turbo and more power than a glanza yet the glanza can easily beat it nearly stock why? Because the glanza is lighter and has a better power to weight ratio. The corsa would be comparable to a new peugeot 207 gti both 1600 cc turbos both ugly as hell lol

The cyborg also came out in turbo was a 4g61t 1987-1991 3 door hatchback they do look mean though I used to have a 1990 mirage super swift r with the cyborg bodykit
