cheers kon and speedvision,...and gv1.3...as my car also pulls to the side when its from off acceloration to on accerleration (spelling)

i know the boot was split,but havent had it changed. its garaged not being used right now so ill give this a shot.

mine does it too mate been doing it ever scince i put the box on, performes great but dosnt like slow corners.

i use silkolene 75/90

i had it out again today and it seems to be fine until you drive about a few miles then it starts to do it and gets worse,its like it does it when its been warmed up or something?

well the previous owner had no probs with the clunking so i wont drive the car till i get some good oil in it!

Did you take the diff out? dont suppose you took any pics if so, i know some diffs are adjustable like from 1 way to 1.5way this will affect how sharply as such, when the plate in the diff com into contact, this could be causing the clunking

cool cheers, ive got a knakerd gearbox with a diff in, going to strip it at some point and see what diff was in it, those pics might come in handy

all cusco mz lsd's clank when you re not throttling, its normal. and you should not put additive to the oil , it reduces the amount of locking in the lsd... mine has been on the car almost 4 years, clanking every day

i've used redline, it was good. be careful though, it should say FWD limited slip diffrential oil

ive just used the redline oil with the diff quitener in it, it was really smooth and quiet for the first 50 miles, but then its got noisy again? i dont really understand will i need even more?
