Distributor Help needed

Hey guys,

Is there a difference between the distributor out of a Glanza or a GT?
They have diffenrent part numbers, but whats the difference.

there may be a difference in the cap regarding plug wire fitment....some older gt plug wires are push on whereas the newer glanza plugs are clip on
i dont know if there are any more differences internally...maybe the others can provide some more information in that regard

however, what i can tell you with certainty is that i run a 5efhe distributor on my glanza with no issues

The distributor itself changed part numbers in Jan 96 with the release of the glanza but I've never had any hassle interchanging them so either will work.

Just be careful that the cap isnt from an early 4efte. As Andy says they had push on connectors instead of clip type.
