Its an odd situation with the tyres lad, my 0-60ft went down but my terminal speed dropped about 10mph, just clicking 4th with 50 meters or so to go. But in terms of grip its absolutly insaine, 1.5bar in second gear, the car doesn't even come close to loosing traction.

Times went down but not by much, but they where all ran within 0.15 of a second. My acceleration has been slowed down a fair bit, so think thats why the times didn't improve a huge amount. My launch can still be reduced by 0.2 or 0.3 of a sec on them, only managing 2.0 and 2.1 sec launches.

Still have the R888s, they're not road legal so though I may aswell get something extremly non road legal if I have to bring all the gear to change wheels.

Really tempted to get the gbox out and split to do some final drive tests. I dunno if its best to use all 5 gears for super acceleration or only use 4 and save time on 1 change.

I'll see how she runs in Sept with some more power thrown at it, I'm taking it to the rollers on Sat to get my eyes opened, I'm guessing 260-270hp.

Were you not aiming for well over 300 mate? or am i missing something and your now running a different setup?

I am the cars not fully mapped yet, was hoping in its current state it would be about 300hp, There's a few holes in my mani so may not be helping. Getting it on the rollers as it stands, cracks and all cause I'm curious. Don't get me wrong, its bloody fast! Just my times aren't supporting my power claims.

I reacon the acceleration could be improved with a good set of light weight rims on her. them tires weigh a small bit more than the standard ones.

Ah right fair enough, 300 would still be an impressive figure and cant imagine how quick it must be even now, looking forward to seeing it going down the strip once shes all set up and everything sorted. :rockon:

Can't wait to its done, will see what happens on the 5th, then I'll really see how it goes. I'll post up my chart this saturday with the broken mani on.

Theres a few more toys to go into it though which should help things along.

get Your manifold Sorted lad!! if your Running a Hybrid td05 and you have cracks in your manifold ur gonna be down in power lad!!
What way is ur External wastegate setup???

She's mapped perfectly, Chris does all my work and have 110% faith in him, its only a temp map though, the real ones going in on the 5th.

The ext gate is plumbed in like an actuator, never could figure out how to tell the boost controller to operate as an ext gate.

theres a crack on one runner near the block and 2 small and 1 large crack where all the runners meet before the turbo. Defo wouldn't be helping matters in terms of spool up and top end.
