DVD conversion programs?

anybody know of any good ones?
have winavi video converter and it worked well for the 1st few movies i converted but now is just useless. converts about 2 mins of video at best then it freezes and its just the audio. its the full version just a dodgy download (if you know what i mean)

anyone know of any good programs that are reliable?

want to convert from avi, mpeg etc to DVD format.

Not sure how good it is, it's free to try though, but I'm sure you would "pay" for the full version

BY FAR the best thing i've EVER used is DVD Santa

does everything for ya - you just choose the resolution and pal/ntsc and you're jamming mate (even records the dvd for ya)

its amazing - get it

The best one I've found is Nero 7 ultra edition with keygen.

when converting from avi,mpg sometimes you need to re encode them when downloaded! cos they sometimes get corrupted meaning they don't convert properly to DVD if you need any advice U2U me

^ Only if you use a (totaly) shit download program - Almost all with check for errors using md5 or verious other hashing techniques...

tired dvd santa as that was the 1st program to download. it takes an absolute age to convert anything but it does the job. cheers lads

the reasons it will mess up is cos you aint got all the latest codecs for your dodgy movies

DL codec pack and restart winavi (cracked version lol) and your sorted for everytype of format of video
