let me know what you think lads... i was hoping for a wee bit higher =[

164bhp @ 1 bar
160 ft/lb torque

spec:

sps mani
decat
2.5" s/s exhaust
hks actuator set @ 1bar
sard rrfpr
fcd

im wondering will a hybrid ct9 improve much on this?

thanks

yea seem about right lad!i bet it still goes real wel at that power!!
a hybrid ct9 would be a good job allright, but all depends on where you want to go from here..wat power would you be happy with;)?

Front mount intercooler if your running a bar otherwise you'll just be blowin hot air into the engine. Still plenty more ponies to be squeezed out her yet without the expense of a hybrid.

yea getting a front mount priced up for it =]

never really thot about an ecu tho ... are the emanage good?
and what can they help me achieve, im trying to get as close to 200bhp as possible, on standard internals and possibly stanard turbo, but maybe a hybrid

yea mate boost controller and emanage ulitimate with a decent map at a bar you would see more power for sure :p , just a question for you guys why go fmic?? the likes of the rx7 and arc tmic are more than good enough on ct9 for good power?? i just dont see the big benifits from fmic, ive driven my car pretty dam hard an so has my mate on an arc tmic and after quickly getting out the intake to the intake mani is ice cold.

Top mount: protected from damage, shorter intake tract for less lag, limited overall size restriction due to placement, more air to the radiator for better engine cooling.

Front mount: better max airflow to intercooler, bigger overall size as well, engine will run hotter due to less flow and hotter air flow to radiator, can be damaged from road debris.

top mounts are smaller and sit on top of the engine and heat rises, front mounts have alot more volume and sitting away from engine and cold air is blowing on them all the time=more bhp:)

but not at driving speeds, fair enough sitting about towns, but for hard driving i feel the response from top mount is more efficient, i know the standard top mount is wank but the likes of rx7 an arc are a very good performance mod, for anthing under 200bhp i would rather have top mount.:)

arc are expensive 900 pounds you could get a frontmount for half that, for 200bhp+ and cheap id say this would be goodhttp://www.tuningdevelopments.co.uk/products.php?cat=26

ino they are expensive new but can be had for 200 2nd hand  lol i like the "direct fitment" usually means cutting holes re routing pipe work etc, i could see the point in a front mount if i was blowing hot air in through intake but at the min my rx 7 is working perfect an presonse is good, do you find you lose a bit of resonse with the long piping of a front mount??

Get a front mount intercooler, relocate ur air filter to the front of the car and get an apexi safc to help with fueling.

Those three things shouldnt cost an arm and a leg and would unlock some extra ponies:)

sold this last week, they are realy expensive new. uprated top mount will be fine for 200bhp+, but front mounts free up the engine bay, look better and iam pretty sure you will get more bhp from it if you uprate the turbo in future :)

ah right nice one mate, lol i know ive been told the mk1;s really suit the front fins cut out an the intercooler sits perfect inbehind it, lol ive been out in a few powerful gt's but wouldnt say big power makes the car quick, its all about power delievery, response and torque
