I'm pleased to announce East Coast Customs will be adding to their dealership nextwork with HEL Ireland. I and my team will be fully equipped and trained to manufacture brake lines, clutch lines, oil lines, and any other hose you can think of, all on site at our premises.

ECC will also be able to supply the full HEL product range of adaptors, fittings, hose, oil/fuel/pas coolers etc.

I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking this is a good move and will be highly beneficial to ECC and the Irish car community.

you think you could get them to actually make a product that fits then?

i've had 2 items from HEL and been very unhappy with them, first was for my starlet the 6 line full kit, fronts fitted fine, but the rears were way to long with incorrect fittings to hold them to the car. Spoke with HEL direct and they said they have never actually tested there products they have just copied them from an item a customer sent in to have made up for a starlet, apparently they said it was for an aftermarket kit but they copied them anyway and sold for standard starlet. I had a deal to send them a full set of standard lines to get copied but sent them off and never got a reply or the correct parts.

The other one was for an MR2, again to long, incorrect fitting and no means of mounting to the wheel arch putting huge stresses on the hard line.

not a dig at your or your new venture but please please please if you have some means of dealing with them, better than i had get them to sort these products out because they would be awesome if these little bits of RnD were sorted out

Good luck with everything

Tim :)

We will be making our own kits in house, but i will take that on board and get a solution for it.
