life is short. Stop wasting it with these stupid threads. If you want to talk about civic v starlet, honda v toyota then do a search (see that seacrh button up there- USE IT!). Millions of these useless pointless threads for you to waste your life on.

what it boils down to is this..

as soon as someone says '' so and so car is faster than a starlet..'' people go on the defence and start crying about it, asif we are saying starlets are shit..

when some of us still own starlets like me and dan :haha::confused:

they were not talking stock he just said stock boost and starlet3sgte said a 185whp starlet wouldnt even be able to take a type r! Well that might be because the bhp on the dyno is just for pub talk you need the car to be fast not have big bhp!

the advantage the dc2 has is its gear ratio's, aswell as having far superior suspension setup to a starlet, and LSD as standard.. people seem to forget that type r's are designed for track and twistys, not for 1/4 mile straight road drag racing ;)

no.

I said a starlet with 180-185WHP would be a good match FOR MY EK9 running a JDM type R lump, stripped out with Exhaust/manifold/lightened flywheel. Far from a "stock EK9 type R". Im not unrealistic. And i based my comments on facts. Not what i think! As it gets you nowhere.

And when i said "would be" im actually saying "it is". Proven and tested with a few various powered starlets. Some of which are some close friends that i see most weekends.
