you would use oversize for example when you grind the crank.

can i just say aswell as a note if u are goin for quite big power NEVER use a grinded crank!!! as it will not take it

A reground crank will be fine

well no your grinding away all the hardness that it has built up over the years makin it very weak, i have spoke to quite a few ppl in the "know" they build drag cars and touring cars etc and say that if u want big power use an unground crank but for small power apllications a ground crank should do
