Fake Met Virus

got one of the above so i cant use my comp at home, if i log into another user on the computer it works.

seen some things on net about but they are crap and long and use programming etc.. not my forte.

my old anti virus i swear got rid of it but when i search on Panda it cannot find anything.. any ideas?

its obviously just attached to my log in.

had this a while ago and had to restore the laptop as i couldnt get rid of it either,
its some sort of adware/malware that inbeds into the windows directory in the sys files
sorry to be the bearer of bad news dude

I fixed one of these the other day in 3 minutes :) Booting up in safe mode helps as the program doesn't run when you fire the system up

how do you boot up in safe mode?

once booted up should i just use the above linked programme? malware

login as a different user download malware bytes and run a scan, then downloads microsoft security essentials from mircosoft to keep you protected

will do this tomorrow and feed back.
if people fall for these things you ahve to be silly! wasnt even looking at porn when it came up and it said i was.... stupid thing

Turn the PC on then press F8 every couple of seconds. You should see a different screen appear allowing you to select Safe Mode.
