Personally I am not a fan, of any additives really. Lots of argument over this one. Bottom line is if it was really any good it would already be used in all engine oils. I have some info about it from a chemist but sadly I cannot post it, prolong dont agree with his views on it and get upset when I post it.

me too....perhaps they have the sole rights to the properties that are used in its development thats why all oils dont use it? lots of F1 teams and racing teams apparantly use it....and what you think of the videos?

I had a look at the video, wow. American advertising at its finest, personally I would take it all with a pinch of salt... Kind of reminds of starshiptroopers... "Would you like to know more?"

If they have got sole rights to it all, if it was that good the majors will be buying it off them as part of the additive package but guess what, they are not.

F1 teams, will believe it when I see it as they need to get their sponsorship money, and its all the same colour no matter who it comes from.

Drop me a mail to sales@opieoils.co.uk and I will forward on the chemists "views"

Cheers

Guy.

I can tell you 100% that the Ferrari team does not use this.

This is old technology that has been around for years and bottled up by different companies as being the next big thing.

Ignore it and all the other "performance" additives on the market.

is this a similar thing to the teflon additive? i did read a detailed write up on that where it did say they actually work however all the thin oil veins etc got coated aswell making them smaller and their conclusion was that this would do more damage than good

All additives are a waste of money. They mainly just block the oil pick up and bang goes your engine.
This information was from a guest lecturer when I was at uni called John Rowland. He is a Development Chemist for Fuchs Lubricants (silkolene) that visited the uni and offered advice with our project cars but never tried to sell us his companies oil, he was there just to give us the information we needed for our coursework.
Alot of companies send him samples of new products but they are all the same thing and end up doing the same damage to your engine.

Stick to a good quality oil and never add anything else.
