I'm pretty sure sending these through the post wouild be a criminal offence. Being flares they are classed as dangerous goods and as such require alot of paper work. Flares are also UN Class 1 which are explosives so whatever wagon they are transported on would need to correctly marked with orange placards so that in the event of an accident the emergency services know what they're dealing with.

Do you have one in your car? Do you have an orange placard? Does anyone on here?

Fully aware of the Post Office's stance chap, which is why I commented on it. If you all think I shouldn't sell them, then you'll all lose out, not me. I'll just have fun lighting them all!

Not having a pop mate, just saying. And as for cars not being placarded, there is an exemption that allows things like that to be carried in a domestic vehicle, the same way that you can use your car to pick up gas bottles etc.

Yeah, I know chap... Well, at the end of the day, I know people want these which is why I was prepared to take the risk sending them. If it's going to result in idiots spamming the thread with their worthless opinions, then I won't bother sending them. TBH, I was always in two minds as to whether to do it anyway, so I'll have a thinksie about what I'm going to do.

These "worthless opinions" are only trying to suggest that sending them through the mail could prove problematic or even be illegal. No one is having a pop. Did someone get out of the wrong side of the bed this morning or something?

Any gltws, hope all goes ok.
